Connecting to Care Challenge 2015

Connecting to Care Challenge 2015

This is an open invitation for any US resident to tell us how they would improve access to medical care, whether this is with an innovative practice model, more personalized care in the form of a mobile health app, or telemedicine, or what you can dream up. The best ideas will earn submitters the chance to pitch their ideas live at the First Annual Washington University Business of Medicine Conference in St. Louis, Missouri.

Who can participate in the Connecting to Care Challenge 2015?

Anyone with a passion in healthcare who is a United States resident.

How does the Contest Work?

Simply submit your idea at the contest submission page. Voting is crowd-sourced (encourage your friends to come and vote for you!). The Official Judges will also vote after the submissions deadline.

How are Entries Judged and What are the Winning Criteria?

We’re looking for innovative ideas that create practice models to increase accessibility to underserved; personalized care and mHealth apps that bring healthcare into the hands of the consumer; telemedicine; or anything you can dream up to increase access to care. Please see the Awards Tab for details.

Can I edit my entry after I submit it?

You may edit your entry up until someone votes or comments on it. After that, you can communicate with the judges directly to expand and refine your idea. The judges will consider all of your responses as part of the overall submission.

Can I submit more than one idea?

Yes, you can submit as many ideas as you like.

What do I win?

The top five entries will win a trip to St. Louis, Missouri to pitch their idea in front of a live audience at Washington University on September 19. A live panel of judges will then choose one grand prize winner.
