Join us at MATTER in Chicago on June 8 for our final pitch-off competition to crown the Grand Prize winner of the Geneia Joy of Medicine Challenge! Beginning at 6pm we'll be offering beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres while you network with your colleagues and the Challenge finalists, judges and keynotes. The main event kicks off at 6:30 with two short keynotes (to be announced) and then the three finalists of the online voting will each have five minutes to present their idea. There will then be a break while our expert panel of judges deliberates to choose a winner.
The event will be held in MATTER's beautiful brand new event space at Chicago's Merchandise Mart Plaza. Don't miss your opportunity to see three innovative physicians present their ideas for improving physician job satisfaction and reclaiming the "Joy of Medicine".

He serves on the Governance Board of the Innovation Learning Network, the Advisory Board of the Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems (AMDIS) and the Editorials Board of Clinical Innovation + Technology and Healthcare Innovation News. He has spoken nationally and around the globe on Healthcare IT and innovation, and his recent book, Innovation with Information Technologies in Healthcare, was published in 2013. He has been listed as one of HealthLeader’s “Twenty People Who Make Healthcare Better”; Healthspottr’s “Future Health Top 100”, and Modern Healthcare’s “Top 25 Clinical Informaticists”. Dr. Neelum T. Aggarwal is a clinical researcher, author and expert in the field of longevity, aging and Alzheimer’s disease. She is Co- Leader of the federally funded (NIA) Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center Clinical Core in Chicago and an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center. She obtained her medical degree from the Rosalind Franklin University Chicago Medical School, completed her Neurology Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and Aging followed by a Neurodegenerative Disorders Fellowship at the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center in Chicago. Because of her expertise in minority health and wellness issues, recruitment and retention of minorities in observational, clinical drug studies and brain autopsy studies, she was elected to represent Rush on the NIA Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study Group (ADCS) Steering Committee.
