Dr Mensah is a graduate of the University of Rochester MD-PhD Program where he studied the interface between the skeletal and immune systems. He is currently a rheumatology fellow in the Yale Physician Scientist Training Pathway where he continues to study osteoimmunology. In addition to research, he is involved in teaching and mentoring medical and graduate students and residents. He has also served on various committees including the Board of Directors of the American Physician Scientists Association.
I am from Fredericksburg, VA and majored in Chemistry at Duke University. I worked as a research assistant at the Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore and Duke School of Medicine in Durham before attending medical school at Virginia Tech Carilion in Roanoke, VA. I am now a first year Family Medicine Resident at Baylor College of Medicine.
