(Physician/MD qualifications required) Obstetrics and Gynecology (Laborist) - Stamford, CT

A thriving group practice is seeking an additional physician to join their OB|GYN Hospitalist group. The practice is affiliated with a large healthcare organization that is also affiliated with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons that oversees four residents a year. The practice deliveries approximately 2,400 newborns a year and provides Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities of the OB|GYN
•Employed Full-time position
•Work fourteen 12-hour shifts per month
•Triage patients for evaluation on Labor and Delivery
•Supervise residents and medical students on Labor and Delivery
•Teach residents and students in both formal didactic and informal clinical settings
•Research opportunities available
•Average of 12 hours of administrative work a month

Requirements of the OB|GYN
•MD or DO
•Completion of an accredited OB|GYN residency program
•Eligible for license for the practice of medicine in the State of Connecticut
•Board certification in OB|GYN
•Experience with EMR medical software
