job description / Duties?

BC/BE plastic surgeon. Aesthetic fellowship or experience preferred. Candidate should have a passion for aesthetic plastic surgery, but also be comfortable with Mohs closures and general reconstruction, breast reconstruction and hand.

reason for opening?

My practice is full and I just can’t do any more. I would like coverage for vacations, I would like someone else to use my OR, it would be nice to share some of the overhead

Would like more time off for vacation

We are also losing patients to other practices not just on price, but on wait times

 

hours/shifts/weekends?

Full-time schedule. All cosmetic surgery can be done in office-based surgery center

 

Any Call involved?

Minimal call as required by small hospital- if they want. I don’t think it is required. Always available to your own patients or each other’s if needed

 

Comp Range?

Probably 300+ and then incentive

 

Any Bonus structure?

Over time, bonus will be the vast majority of compensation

Percentage of collections after threshold met. Paid Monthly

 

Partnership options?

Buy-in to practice and to Surgery center would be available

Planning after year 3 buy-in of some percentage
