Hi Dr. Oriol,
Thank you for being available for questions and for a fantastic presentation yesterday.
When I was in medical school 7 years ago, we still had mandatory attendance (a piece of paper that was circulated and that we had to sign), sat in wooden chairs in a large lecture hall of 100+ people for 8 hours a day, and learned based on subjects (pathology separate from histology separate from anatomy, etc). Personally, I question how much useful material I actually learned the first 2 years of medical school.
With new technology, shifts to small group learning, and shifts towards system-based learning, in your opinion, what has been the biggest changes in medical education in the last 10 years? And what are your opinions on them?
