Do you believe that this patient group will be generalizable to the US population, especially to physicians practicing in different regions of our country? In Table S2, the baseline characteristics of the patients are outlined, and approximately 75% of the patients are white; 65% are male. Also of note, around 90% of the patients had severe eczema, which makes me wonder about applying this data to patients with milder forms of eczema, or none at all? It also brings up the question of whether we have the health care resources to initiate skin testing on all patients at risk?
Perhaps most interesting of all, how would the findings apply to children without an identified risk factor for peanut allergy?
