Hello and thank you all for holding a discussion on this topic. When I was going through residency, we were expected to just "grin and bear it" and that showing weakness was not tolerated of physicians. I wonder if this is still prevalent and if today's residents are afraid to reach out to their chief or program director for fear they will be labeled "weak" and it could affect their future. Are there any anonymous or independent support networks to provide such help?
