World Health Organization reports 1 person every 40 seconds dies from suicide & more attempts to suicide, currently it’s the 2nd cause of death among 15-29 year-olds, worldwide. Increasingly, 50% of children & 20% of adults report experiencing depression.
Our idea aims to empower and help them to monitor and manage their stress, depression and anxiety. Using wearables we plan to physically track and monitor emotions via sensors, such as brain wave tracking, temperature, and skin conductance sensors.
With the data provided, then we help to manage their stress levels via different options: requested tasks, push questionnaires, journaling, guided meditations, pending circumstance. Additionally, via tele-medicine portals, we can connect a helper or supporters to the person in need. That could be done via an app installed on their smart-phone / computer / smart-watch. The person in need can immediately connect to a network of registered peers or mental health service providers.
