Question normal

Physical activity can improve health and reduce risk of developing many diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders.

Accurate activity data is critical for assessing overall wellness before
and after clinical procedures but can also provide deeper insight into
measuring behavioral change when treating chronic conditions.

Most of the wearable activity trackers and their apps provide decent
analysis and comparisons with your past efforts and those of friends;
yet they fail at providing a simple and secure way to share this data.

Paper-based forms or web-based survey tools are currently used to gather this data. The accuracy of these methods is subject to the patient's interpretation and their ability to recall information.

Our idea is to pilot a platform which provides individuals:
1. an easy way to gather data from their activity tracking device(s)
2. a simple and secure way of sharing their activity data with their healthcare providers
