Well, everyone, we’ve reached the final day of this NEJM Group Open Forum. Our hope is that everyone following the discussion has found it stimulating, informative, and challenging.
First and foremost, thank you to our panel of experts. We are so grateful for your consistent investment and thoughtful insights. Thank you also to the New England Journal of Medicine and Medstro for hosting this Group Open Forum -- especially to Dr. Chana Sacks and Dr. Jennifer Joe. I would be remiss if I didn’t thank my fellow moderators, especially Mr. David Eisenbrey, without whom this forum could not have succeeded.
Lastly, thank you to all of you who’ve followed the conversation and to those who’ve contributed their own insights! If nothing else, I hope we can agree that gun violence is a public health emergency. There is much work to be done in addressing this crisis, but we can each be part of the solution! Let’s challenge ourselves to keep this issue at the forefront of of our consciousness.
