What has been the biggest challenge, if any, to being a minority (person of color, LGBT, woman, international grad, etc) in medicine? Is this something that, as students, we can prepare for? Change? How has mentorship helped/hurt this? Have there been any networks or organizations that you find useful for seeking out mentors of color? (e.g. tips and tricks to reach out to others using the SACNAS network or HSF network?)
