We've learned that in several cases, a message may be interpreted with different judgments depending on whether it is coming from a man or a woman. This can certainly create challenges in the medical environment. On the positive side, there are unique qualities that women have that may counter some of these challenges. For today, I'd like to hear from our panelists on the following: What do women bring to medicine that men may not bring? Conversely, do you think there is something that men may bring to the culture of medicine that women don't bring (a question I have been asked by male colleagues!)
