One of the biggest learning lessons I had when looking for my first nephrology job was how to figure out who was hiring. I was inundated with recruiter email, phone calls, and pages. I wasted some time talking to recruiters, and at the end of the day realized that I had to just know someone who knew someone about a nephrology position that would be opening soon.
I'd love to hear other people's experience with this.
