Given that ezetimibe works by reducing the intestinal absorption of cholesterol, might the expected benefit for an individual patient differ based on their level of adherence to a heart-healthy lifestyle? I.e., would you expect to see greater LDL reductions in a patient who struggles with maintaining a heart-healthy diet than one who has maximized their therapeutic lifestyle changes?
