For our last day of discussion, I thought we could focus on the future care of low-risk pregnancies. What options will be available for pregnant women, especially women with low-risk pregnancies, ten years from now? Do you anticipate that home-birth rates will increase? Will birthing centers become more popular? Will labor and delivery floors have more midwives taking care of lower-risk pregnancies? What do you think the landscape will look like?
