Thank you for all the comments from the authors and experts to my prior question. One of the interesting take-away points from this study was the potential benefit of liraglutide in reducing the progression to diabetes for patients with prediabetes. Was the lifestyle intervention similar or modeled after the Diabetes Prevention Program curriculum? This would be interesting to know since the results of the DPP study showed greater diabetes risk reduction with lifestyle intervention compared to metformin. Also what was the overall risk reduction in diabetes incidence comparing the two arms? Figure 2B shows the reduction in prediabetes and the article mentions more patients developed diabetes in the placebo arm, but I'm wondering what were the numbers and overall risk reduction for diabetes.
