Thanks to everyone who has contributed thus far! Let's continue with the implementation theme. Yesterday we focused on individual providers; today, we will address the strategies health care organizations and systems can employ to drive high-value care. The “volume-to-value” shift is already underway at a number of hospitals and provider organizations, and will likely continue to spread as payers move away from fee-for-service. What are the key considerations for a hospital or health system as it attempt to implement high-value care? Are there any organizations or programs that have been particularly successful in doing so thus far, or best practices that tend to garner the best results?
