Question normal

Despite having a wealth of knowledge, many physicians struggle to answer specific questions about diet and nutrition, and consulting a dietician is not financially feasible for some patients who already have high medical expenses.

I propose a website paired with a mobile app that would allow patients to search their conditions and immediately find information about which foods they should consume, which foods they should avoid and which dietary supplements may improve their health. Each condition’s page will contain a list of recommended recipes and snacks for the patient as well as suggestions for eating out, and patients can create a food log to track the calories and percent daily values they consume so they can become more conscientious of their eating habits. Patients can also set reminders to take medications.

Creating a website will allow patients who lack cellular service access to this information through their local libraries.
