For me this is quite a relevant topic. I have less than a year left until I return to the clinic for a long stent of clinical duties. A major theme across the discussion thus far has been "diving in head first" and "focusing on whats at hand". These are definitely great pieces of advice, but what I am wondering now is how can I best prepare myself for the transition back to my third year/clinical duties? I have been away from clinical medicine for sometime and although a lot of that information is still up there somewhere its not as innate as I would like it. Should I try to spend sometime in the clinic/hospital this year? As it gets closer, how should I review new and relevant information for my rotations? Thanks!
