One year thrombosis rates were not significantly different in ABSORB III, yet there was a nominally significant difference favoring Xience in subacute thrombosis (0.9 vs 0.1; p = 0.04). In addition, the late (31 days- 1 year) rate observed 6 reported definite or probable thrombosis compared to 0 for Xience. What are your thoughts regarding the relative risk of subacute events vs late events?
