When I first read this article I was surprised that there were more patients that underwent Roux-en-Y gastric bypass than sleeve gastrectomy. However, it appears that when the Teen-LABS group was designing the trial sleeve gastrectomy wasn't yet as popular as it is today. Am I interpreting that timeline correctly?
