I want to thank everyone who has been taking part in our discussion over these last several days. It has been great to read the comments and answers from our authors and experts on this exciting topic - but from a clinical and research perspective. Prospective and randomized studies in the metabolic surgery field are needed to address a number of unanswered questions (that continues to grow!). I'm curious to see what other prospective and potentially randomized trials may develop given the results of Teen-LABS and the increasing use of bariatric surgery in progressively younger patients.
Are there any other thoughts or important points that warrant discussion while we have our study authors readily accessible?
