One thing I've struggled with is how to help friends and fellow trainees I fear are at risk of, or suffering from, burnout. Often they are worried about the consequences of seeking help, or don't see the potential benefit -- even though it can be transparent to me or our classmates.
Other than reassuring them that they are not alone, and that there is no shame in taking personal time or seeking help (which can be tough arguments to sell given the paucity of open discussion on this important topic), what recommendations do you have in terms of advice or resources for referral?
