The authors of both studies have done a commendable job in helping us re-think our daily practice axioms. Still, not all degenerative spondylisthesis patients are the same, and there may have been benefit in assessing the loaded saggital segmental alignment preoperatively and differentiating results accordingly. I look forward to reading the results of the radiographic analysis when completed.
