Is there any restriction on switching out of the REPAYE program after leaving residency? If I understand the program correctly it seems like it would make sense to switch from REPAYE to another income based repayment plan when you graduate residency. Then you would have a cap on your monthly payments, and you wouldn't get much benefit from the interest payments in REPAYE on an attending's salary anyway. Is there something I'm missing?
