using augmented reality in mobile platforms, we are looking to design a solution that allows those whose suffer from mild cognitive disorders to engage in daily tasks that may not be currently available to them.
The user would be assigned "tasks" that allow them to associate spatial data to relevant tasks that must be completed in a particular day. For instance, an individual maybe required to visit a local pharmacy to pick up medications. The user would be reminded of the task and will be given directions to pharmacy(walk or bus). The task may include "hotspots" that may help rebuild neural networks affected by their disorder. Such tasks like identifying potential landmarks from previous trips or marking grocery stores as they pass.
Of course, functionality such as a "locate me" option must be available.
