Question normal

The importance of immunology in a wide variety of other fields has been increasingly appreciated, including cardiovascular sciences, cancer, and even normal physiology. The immune system appears to either play a role in the pathology or the physiologic response to many disease states. There is a ton of work to be done in teasing out all of the immunologic cells, secreted factors, and their interactions. I predict that this area of research will continue to grow over the next 10 years.
