A onesie, sock, patch, or possibly a temporary tattoo of some sort that is worn by an infant on release from the hospital that monitors the infants bilirubin levels, in addition to temperature, oxygen levels, heart rate, etc that are already available. New parents can more confidently identify when there is an actual problem or just when the infant needs more time in the sun. Results could either be visually identified or preferably monitored by an application that would send alarms or warnings to a mobile device to alert the parents to issues. Not only would this help to identify real issues, but should also result in reduced trips to emergency rooms for false alarms
