Question normal

There are many things to be frustrated by in modern primary care.

Insurers limit formularies and require prior authorizations. Naturopaths are licensed to bill as primary care doctors and prescribe allopathic medicines in many states. Public health investments aren't being made. Corporations interfere with the rigor of our evidence base. Supplements go entirely unregulated. Gun advocates make it so we can't discuss gun safety. Birth control access is limited on religious grounds. Doctors have few avenues to address upstream causes of morbidity and mortality.

Why? Because others are organized and financed to advocate for systems that allow them profit or advancement of their ideology, often at the expense of health.

Your patients suffer. You suffer. The profession suffers.

We need a political advocacy committee that focuses on true patient wellness, not just specialist-driven clinical episode/intervention volume.
